This January, Indian street food and craft beer connoisseurs, Bundobust, are coming in hot with new limited edition specialsand you don't want to miss out.
Bundobust are back with a new wave of specials and they certainly do not disappoint.
Available until right up until the end of the month, you can get your hands on these tasty dishes across all Bundobust locations until 31st January 2023.
First up on the list of specials is the Bombay Sandwich, delved deep from Indian folklore and bound to be your new go-to lunchtime snack (and it's vegan!).

Derived from the streets of Mumbai, Bundo’s Bombay Sandwich is a grilled sandwich packed with potato and spinach, green chutney, cucumber, red onion, tomato, and vegan cheddar. Seasoned with the cult Indian spice mix, chaat masala, for a zingy lilt and served with Sambhar - a lentil, aubergine and bottle gourd soup.
So it's basically a toasted sarnie with a side of soup for dipping but made one hundred times better. As it's a classic lunchtime combo, the Bombay Sandwich is available Sunday-Friday 12-4pm and trust us, it's well worth the visit.
Next up are the Stuffed Chillis, a standout special for us which truly left our tastebuds tingling with delight.

Full-to-bursting green sweet chillis stuffed with spiced potato in a crispy gram flour batter and served with mango chutney dip. An Indian deli counter staple, this delightful dish draws inspiration from Bundobust’s famous parent restaurant Prashad and the stuffed chilli from their formative deli days in mid-’90s Bradford.
Another January special is the Punjabi Kadi - moong dhal pakoras simmered in a garam massala, yoghurt and gram flour curry. Perfectly warming for the winter months, lightly sour, satisfyingly spiced and luxuriantly creamy.

And with the new year of course comes a time for reflection, so Bundobust have revisited two huge crowd favourites to turn the flavour up to eleven with new and improved recipes.
Back with a bang is the Egg Bhurji which now showcases cumin and green chilli spiced scrambled eggs with a fresh hit of green peas and coriander. 2023’s new recipe Paneer Kadai includes paneer cheese simmered in mixed pepper and rich tomato sauce with onions, deggi mirch and kasturi methi. Both are served with pillowy bhatura.

And on top of all that you've got Bundobust's permanent offering which is criminally mouthwatering as it is. And with 75% of the menu being vegan (100% vegetarian), it's the perfect place to visit if you're attempting Veganuary this year.

She's big, she's green and she's ready to ruin your figure.
A lot of you will have seen the viral ‘Bertha’ cake by Leeds born beloved sweet treat specialists Get Baked.
They recently opened another site in Manchester's Northern Quarter, where queues literally formed round the block of hungry punters wanting to get their hands on the infamous sugary treats.
And now it's going to happen all over again, as they've recently unveiled their newest flavour which is sure to go down a storm.
We’ll give you a hint: it’s a current food and drink trend that’s about as big as Bertha herself – it’s not matcha, it’s not hot honey (duh), and it’s not Guinness…

Yes—scratch that; HELL YES!Get Baked is set to welcome Bertha’s equally beautiful twin sister, and she’s officially a pistachio girlie.
Having started out life simply as ‘Bruce’, after taking inspiration from the iconic scene from Matilda, this thing has become a phenomenon in its own right, and who doesn’t like more flavours of a good thing?
Probably one of the biggest foodie crazes going at the minute, thanks to the popularity of pistachio cream, cookies, lattes and the similar social media sensation that is the ‘Dubai Pistachio Bar' people are rather fittingly going nuts for this particular flavour of almost absolutely anything.
With that in mind, the Leeds-born bakery and dessert shop – founded by Rich Myers over in Headingley back in 2011 – have shown no hesitation in hopping on the bandwagon and creating a new twist on their own viral menu item.
Teasing the full details in a post on their Instagram this week, they wrote: “What’s big, green, and is going to destroy your life in a couple of weeks’ time? Pistachio Bertha. Strictly limited to 5,000 slices. Coming oh so soon. GB.”
In case you were wondering just how mad those with a sweet tooth could possibly go for a slice of cake, just look at the recent queues when they finally launched in Manchester city centre:
Speaking on the grand opening here on our turf and his partner Amy’s hometown, Myers said simply: “Manchester, what a launch. Thanks for much for the warm welcome. Stay baked.”
