Fine food and unlimited booze- served every day of the week.
Tucked away on the corner of Merrion Street, Oba Leeds is serving some of the best Korean and Japanese fusion dishes, with a range of vegan-friendly meals available.
This hidden gem offers a warm welcome from the the moment you walk through the glass doors. The bright hues of sunflower yellow and bright blue mirror off the panelling and glass windows and match the service, always delivered with a smile, to a tee, since opening last autumn.

Now firmly settled into the Merrion Centre, Oba has decided to bring a bottomless brunch experience to the table: with two courses and three drinks on offer.
Available from midday until 4pm each day, grab a bite over a full two hour sitting.
For starters, expect a delectable choice of beautifully presented dishes. There's Korean fried chicken, Karagge chicken wings, whitebair with chilli and cumin all served as small plater, or cucumber maki sushi rolls and kimchi spring rolls on offer for your first course.

The mains are packed with just as much flavour. We'd recommend the Chicken Katsu Curry: it's a classic crowdpleaser, but Oba's version of the dish is one of our favourites in Leeds.
There's also Ginger pork belly, tofu katsu teriyaki, assorted seafood with kimchi in spicy sauces and a Kinoko butter on offer: it's an assorted mushroom dish with vegan butter and sound utterly delicious.

Now none of these dishes would be complete without a side of rice or chips, so take your pick before devouring these generously-portioned dishes and take a sip of your unlimited drinking options.
The drinks list for this bottomless is short and sweet: but we're glad. This food needs to be appreciated with complementary drinks, so the carefully selected options of Prosecco and raspberry lemonade seem like the ideal combo to us.
If you're feeling adventurous and want to get your weekend (or Tuesday) truly started: there's also unlimited green apple sours on offer. Grab as many as you can over 120 minutes for a refreshing experience.
If you fancy something Korean, something Japanese and everything with top notch service, we're big fans of Oba every day of the week: but now that there's a new bottomless in town, you'll see us in here a lot more often.
As part of their introductory offer, Oba is offering 20% off all bottomless bookings this week. On their Instagram page, Oba said:
"Bottomless Brunch is now available to book at Oba Leeds. Enjoy 2 courses and bottomless drinks for 2 hours for £30 per person! To celebrate the launch of our Bottomless Brunch - we are offering 20% off all bookings until 11th February."

She's big, she's green and she's ready to ruin your figure.
A lot of you will have seen the viral ‘Bertha’ cake by Leeds born beloved sweet treat specialists Get Baked.
They recently opened another site in Manchester's Northern Quarter, where queues literally formed round the block of hungry punters wanting to get their hands on the infamous sugary treats.
And now it's going to happen all over again, as they've recently unveiled their newest flavour which is sure to go down a storm.
We’ll give you a hint: it’s a current food and drink trend that’s about as big as Bertha herself – it’s not matcha, it’s not hot honey (duh), and it’s not Guinness…

Yes—scratch that; HELL YES!Get Baked is set to welcome Bertha’s equally beautiful twin sister, and she’s officially a pistachio girlie.
Having started out life simply as ‘Bruce’, after taking inspiration from the iconic scene from Matilda, this thing has become a phenomenon in its own right, and who doesn’t like more flavours of a good thing?
Probably one of the biggest foodie crazes going at the minute, thanks to the popularity of pistachio cream, cookies, lattes and the similar social media sensation that is the ‘Dubai Pistachio Bar' people are rather fittingly going nuts for this particular flavour of almost absolutely anything.
With that in mind, the Leeds-born bakery and dessert shop – founded by Rich Myers over in Headingley back in 2011 – have shown no hesitation in hopping on the bandwagon and creating a new twist on their own viral menu item.
Teasing the full details in a post on their Instagram this week, they wrote: “What’s big, green, and is going to destroy your life in a couple of weeks’ time? Pistachio Bertha. Strictly limited to 5,000 slices. Coming oh so soon. GB.”
In case you were wondering just how mad those with a sweet tooth could possibly go for a slice of cake, just look at the recent queues when they finally launched in Manchester city centre:
Speaking on the grand opening here on our turf and his partner Amy’s hometown, Myers said simply: “Manchester, what a launch. Thanks for much for the warm welcome. Stay baked.”
